We are a small and independent Insurance Broker based in Hamburg with focus on the maritime industry. Each partner in our team has more than 15 years of knowledge and experience in risk management, broking and claims handling from servicing clients and insurers throughout the world.

Henrik started in shipping as a shipbroker trainee for Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG in 1996. Afterwards he moved to London and worked at Lloyd´s of London for the Brockbank Syndicate and the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group for almost two years. Back in Hamburg he spent two and a half years with Döhle Assekuranzkontor GmbH & Co. KG and thereafter 12 years with Junge & Co. Versicherungsmakler GmbH in various positions.

Nicolas began his shipping career with the German Navy back in 1987. Coming ashore he worked for Deutsche Bank AG in Hamburg for two years before he studied economics and insurance at the University of Regensburg. He holds a Masters in Business Economics and Insurance Business Management and has worked as a marine insurance broker since 1997, servicing clients for almost two decades.

Born into a shipping family Ulf went to sea at the age of 15, gaining valuable seagoing experience. After his apprenticeship as a shipbroker at Sloman Neptun he went to the University of Muenster for his law studies, which he finalized as a fully qualified lawyer. Ulf started his insurance career at Junge & Co. Versicherungsmakler GmbH as a claims handler in 2002, finally heading the marine claims department.

Jan was born in Kuwait and raised in Nigeria. After serving the army he went to University in Hamburg where he studied economics with focus on insurance management and law. He holds a Masters in Business Administration and Economics. Thereafter he became partner in an insurance broking house in Hamburg and is self-employed as partner and shareholder since then. As an insurance broker Jan serviced clients for almost 20 years and has a profound knowledge in founding and restructuring broking houses.
